Welcome to the Boss Pedal Project! This is my attempt to collect and review every Boss compact pedal ever made. Every week, I'll be demoing a different Boss pedal. Be sure to subscribe so you don't miss a review! Episode 2: Boss OS-2 Overdrive/ Distortion People often write off Boss overdrives, but they can sound great! The Boss OS-2 is no exception. Granted, you must have a nice tube amp to get the most out of it. When I first fired this pedal up, I set everything at 12 O'clock. As it turns out, that's my favorite setting. The controls are pretty self explanatory except for the color knob. This knob actually let's you blend between an overdrive sound, and a distortion sound. Anything too far towards the DS side, and things start to sound bad. I'd keep it in the middle, or a little towards the OD side. From my experience, these Boss distortions and overdrives tend to have a sweet spot. Once you find it, you are good to go! -Cameron Johnson Music by Atma Weapon atmaweaponnc.bandcamp.com facebook.com/atmaweaponnc
