Sorry guys! I'm back on track with this one (hopefully). This week, I am reviewing the Boss DM-3 Delay (not to be confused with its more sought after predecessor, the DM-2). The DM-3 is identical in layout to the DM-2, except for the direct out on the DM-3. The delay time is the same, but there is a different filtering circuit in the DM-3. I'm not overly ecstatic about the DM-3. It sounds good, but it doesn't quite have the mojo that the DM-2 has. Also, mine is a little goofier once you crank the Repeat Rate knob. And it doesn't self-oscillate nearly as reliably as my DM-2. All that aside, it's still a great analog delay. Also, they can be had for much cheaper than a DM-2.
