Nature on the first run through this room because routing had improved and went through Magmoor/Tallon properly Climbs Monitor Station quickly (previous run does not) Cutscene waiting in Phendrana Shorelines in order to save some time We see the beginning of tech in Phendrana Shorelines to save time by dashing to the boost ball door Still no ghetto jump in Ice Ruins West Does the risky dash in Phendrana Canyon to save a couple seconds Dashes to Chozo Ice Temple which is faaaaaaaast Puzzle is done correctly, as it has been since the beginning of Metroid Prime speedrunning (CALFoolio messed up slightly but had the correct method) Fast Baby Sheegohs Almost at the proper adult Sheegoth strat. Only slightly slower than modern ‘unmorph+missile’ No IS for Sun here, so we come back later in the run Doesn’t get hit by the turrets in Monitor Station & proper routing back to Chozo, mercifully Not sure what he locked onto by the door in the elevator room? No Transport Access missile VERY new (and very fast) Root Cave strat that he nails Boosting through otherwise slow rooms Lifegiver is picked up at this point in the run, where it is still in current day runs Unmorphs in Ruined Shrine while boosting which is slow… Pretty decent Gathering Hall movement for 2004 Unmorphs really early in Furnace which causes him to lose time later as he catches the door load Sorta slow ghost fight Still uses wave beam slot, at least does the statue ghetto to make up for some time Still doesn’t use the fast ice equip after the cutscene, dashes to the save station though
