Moddjobbs modded MXR Phase 90 'Vibe' - YouTube Cameron Johnson

Here is a quick video I did for the Moddjobbs modded MXR Phase 90 'Vibe'. Nick from Moddjobbs basically took the Phase 90 and added some additional flexibility. You still get the standard Phase 90, with the addition of a mix knob to let you blend between a phase or vibe tonality. Also, the mix knob is a push pull pot, which allows you to toggle between a 'block letter' or 'script letter' era tone. This is a really sweet phase/ vibe pedal, and if you know me, I love them. The vibe side of things lets you get a really nice and deep vibey tone. Think Jimi Hendrix Uni-Vibe. I love how you can mix it with the phase; I like to keep the knob at around 12:00. To me, that's the best of both worlds. The push pull pot didn't seem to make a huge difference to me, but I think I preferred the 'Script mode'. It sounded a little sweeter to my ears. Both modes sounded great; I could use either one. Also, this pedal rocks in front of a dirty amp. totally Hendrix all the way. Overall, I strongly recommend the Moddjobbs modded Phase 90. It takes an already great sounding pedal, and expands its tonal abilities. And if you wanted to rock your Phase 90 like a small footprint Uni-Vibe, this is the ticket!
