In this episode of EXPLORE MEXICO, come with me on a tour of a bambo farm in Hautusco, Veracruz.
This farm is located up in the high altitudes of western Veracruz and comprises some 120 acres/49 hectares. There are 3 parts to this tour.
1. Seeing how the bamboo stalks are grown and then replanted.
2. Walking on the paths in the bamboo forest with a guide to explain the different types
3. Visiting a house totally constructed from bamboo ... from inside to out.
This bamboo farm (BambuVer) is located about 3 hours from the port city of Veracruz.
